St. Mary's Edge held a retreat at Camp Kappe on February 26-28 where our students had the opportunity to spend quality time with God, and grow in their faith. St. Joseph's Youth Group was invited to join us and together we had a total of 33 students in attendance. We would like to thank our group leaders, Renée Cortez & Kristina Sommer; our volunteers, Alma Brinkley, Bernice & Hannah Farrington, Sally Osbon, Deacon Stan Avallone, Russell Davis, and Franklin Welfl; our cooks, Gracie Lopez and Rosie Perez for all their help. We would especially like to thank Fr. Edmund Eduarte for sharing his time with us. Our students were able to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, attend Daily Mass, and Adoration with his leadership. We also need to thank St. Vincent de Paul and Maria Reyes for their special contributions to our students. We look forward to attending this event again next year!
